With art supplies, paper bags, or other classroom materials, let’s create our own feelings crowns.

  • Have children choose one feeling to represent on their crown.
  • Support children as they decorate paper crowns with markers/crayons and other art supplies to represent their feeling. What colors will they use? What textures? Children may choose to draw a feelings face or represent their feeling more abstractly.
  • When finished, take turns sharing. Can they use their face to match the feeling on the crown?
